How To Make Your Own Stickers At Home

Have you ever wanted to put stickers on anything but didn’t have any stickers that were of things that you liked? Or have you spent time looking over all of the sticker packs in the store but couldn’t find any with one specific thing you wanted?  Well, don’t worry because you can make your own stickers with items that most people have around their house!

Step 1: Pick a Design

You first need to decide what’s going to be on your sticker. Whether it’s a character you like, an animal you’re fond of or just a cute symbol to decorate your notebook, you need

to pick a design. There’s multiple ways to create your design. You can draw it, cut it out from a magazine, book etc. or find a design on the internet and print it out. Also, if you’re going for a classical sticker design, don’t forget to leave a white border around your design.

Step 2: Make the Back

To actually make the sticker, you will need parchment paper and tape. Roll out your parchment paper and place tape. Make sure that the tape’s area is large enough to cover your design. The parchment paper provides a removable backing and the tape is the adhesive that will stick your sticker to any surface you want.

Step 4: Tape Your Design

Put your design on the taped part of the parchment paper. Check that your design is inside of the taped area. Once your design is securely placed on top, tape your design onto the parchment paper, fully covering the design.

Step 5: Cut It Out

Cut your design out of the parchment paper. I recommend leaving a small border around to make it easier to peel.

And that’s it! You have made your own sticker. You can peel the parchment anytime you want to stick it onto anything you want. I hope you have fun making all sorts of stickers!
