Why Do People Use EV's Daily, but Prefer Gas for Sport Cars?

If you are a little interested in cars, you must have heard about this debate atleast once. But what's all this fuss about? Why do people talk about this war very much? Let's find out!

Explaining EV Cars:

EV's have been popularising among the world for the last 20 years because of how practical they are. They have electric motors, which deliver INSANE amount of power. Since they put instant torque on the wheels, they accelerate like a lightning bolt: gone in a blink of an eye! Daily EV's don't have really high top speeds, which is safe; but keep it in mind, the current top speed world record is held by an EV sports car. (496km/h)

But they don't have very long traveling distances because the batteries can only hold a certain amount of energy. In exchange, it is actually very cheap to charge it! Just a wall mount in your home and everything sets. They sound like the perfect sports car type, right? Actually, they don't sound like anything at all, they dont't make sounds either!

Explaining Gas Cars:

Gas Cars are the way to go for the past 100 years. (Also diesel, but "Gas VS Diesel" is another topic I also wrote.) They deliver less power than EV's, meaning EV's can handle some tough business better. Gas cars tend to have slower acceleration, which you want right the opposite in a sports car. :) They are harder to maintain because of the complicated build it has. And their fuel prices skyrocket every year, and the carbon emissions harm environment really bad. Sounds like they should only be made for daily cars or even more extreme, they should be completely banned, right? No.

Main Reason Behind All

Ask every gearhead you know, and they will still pick gas cars over EV's. Why? Now we have come to the main reason behind it! The reason I sometimes wrote gas cars as "sports cars", even though they are slower, is EV's will never be sports cars. They are just "fast cars". They cannot contain any sound, any vibration, any passion... They're just like robots. In the other hand, gas cars always make you feel themselves. Any difference in the sound, any note of vibration will let you understand the car. They will be screaming while you're not ok. They will be shouting when you're just having fun, driving in the sunsets. They whisper feelings not just by going fast; but making you listen them, making you feel them. I may sound crazy, but that's my perspective about cars. Sports cars are not just fast, they are alive.

Conclusion

In short, EV's are more suitable for daily cars like grabbing groceries or traveling in a city etc. But they don't hold any passion. Sports cars can be hybrid, but let's talk about that later! Sports cars should hold passion, they should make you feel them.
