Even today it is a big discussion topic and some people don't even know properly what evolution means. Today I'm going to write about it. When we say evolution what comes up to your mind? Probably you think the evolution of monkeys into people. The first idea of evolution was put forward by Charles Darwin. It was the start of the evolution journey. However, we are not using this theory anymore because we improved and extended it. As of that century scientists have proven it in different ways and different fields. Darwin's theory was that every species are relatives, but their distant relatives lived in older times, and close relatives lived in recent times. Our sibling's common ancestors (parents) lived more recently, but we are also relatives of our common ancestors who lived 6 million years ago.
In our daily lives, we don't evolve. No one evolves, though. People just grow and develop. To evolve there must be one generation. We can see evolution in the frequency of seeing a feature. If frequency changes, there must be evolution.
Furthermore, evolution is not just about living creatures. Specifically, viruses are not living creatures, but they can evolve. Moreover, there are cultural and geological evaluation types.
Usually, evolution is defined as the “turning of one species into another” but this is not a definition; this is the result of evolution. For a more significant change in species, it spends more time, results are not instant, and the process is so slow that we don't even recognize. If you look at the examples, you can understand what I am saying.
Monkeys' evolution is the most popular one and we know it took a very long time.
In conclusion, evolution is a proven thing. However, there are ideas about it. “From whom did humans evolve? “ is a common question but it is agreed on one thing, which is: evolution is something real and that it takes time for species to turn into other species.
